The Craze Squad Fantasy Team (Team 2)
My last post I introduced The Elites, one of my three fantasy teams built of characters from popular media. The Elites where headed up by Hannibal Smith, and consisted of Ellen Ripley, John McClane, and Kayako.
Today I would like to introduce the Craze Squad. A psychopathic and scheming group of individuals whose ambitions are only greater than their lack of sympathy for the world around them.
Captain of this ragtag group is the Joker from the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy. Joker is insane, or is he...? With his elaborate and intelligent planning and deeply insightful views on society and its downward spiral, Joker may not be as loopy as he would have people think. He is cool and calculating and has a deep understanding of the human condition and how to manipulate it. This makes him the perfect being to head up a team of other like-minded individuals.
Second to the Joker in this band of elite criminal masterminds is the illustrious and scheming Mr. Gold from the "Once Upon a Time" television series. Also known as Rumpelstiltskin and possessing the powers of The Dark One, Mr. Gold's supernatural origins give him an edge over most criminals of his caliber. Dapper and smooth-tongued, Gold has a plan and numerous backup plans to make sure he ends up always on top. But be careful to cross him, as he is known to quote, when you mess with magic "there is always a price".
Also in the group is the Archangel Gabriel from the "Supernatural" television show. A rouge angel who has masqueraded as The Trickster for centuries, remaining completely under the radar of God and the other angelic host. Sam and Dean Winchester have tried many times to put Gabriel down, and Lucifer apparently did (though everyone doubts it will stick). Though he has supernatural background, Gabriel's motives are just as base and monetary as anyone else's.
Lastly but not least in any way, is Maximilian Pegasus from the "Yu-Gi-Oh" series. Also with a supernatural background and with a proven talent for strategy, His natural intelligence is enhanced by his possession of the Millennium Eye, an artifact that allows him to see the thoughts and look through the eyes of whoever he wishes. His focus seems to be limited to the Duel Monsters gaming, but with the likes of Joker and Mr. Gold pushing him to expand his horizons, Pegasus could make himself a universal force to be reckoned with.
Mr. Gold, Gabriel, Pegasus, lead by Joker, this team could be the one to bring the world to its knees and reduce everyone, from gangsters to demonic hell-spawn to dust.
Tune in next time so I can introduce you to the Silent Killers, a team so ruthless and filled with bloodlust that none can stand in their way.
This is Josh, signing off!
